Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySARAH ALLEGRA NYBAKKEN Sarah Allegra Nybakken Sarah was born on April 6, 2006 and entered the presence of God on June 8, 2006. She provided her family with nine weeks of joy and fulfillment. She met the challenges of her life with a dedicated determination to survive as well as to provide the joys of early life. Though tiny throughout her short life, she was able to show her family the meaning of ultimate worth. She was a little fighter right until the end and showed an unexplained robustness, despite the odds she was given. In that, she gave her family more than was expected and more than seemed possible. At last, Sarah could not overcome the difficulties of what she had been given and her little body told us that she could no longer endure any more of the challenges. She went far beyond the call of sacrifice and we acknowledge her meaning in our lives through our responses. She leaves for us an enduring legacy of innocence and unconditional love. Left to honor her brief life are her parents, Wade and Julie Nybakken, grandparents David and Lenora Nybakken, Paul and Mary Loewen, Aunt Andrea and Uncle Genico Aiello, and Uncle Cory and Aunt Stephanie Loewen. As well, there are numerous relatives and friends who stood alongside the families as we did our best to provide sustaining love and presence. We thank all of the staff at B.C. Children's and Women's Hospital and Canuck Place in Vancouver for the attention, care and love that they provided during our difficult times.
