JANELLE LEE KURYTNIK Peacefully, after a hard fought battle with cancer on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 with her family by her side at the St. Boniface Hospital, Janelle Kurytnik, aged 29 years of Selkirk. Her memory will be lovingly remembered by her precious daughters, Brittany and Madison; fiancee, Jim Cunningham; mom Illa and stepdad Ed Kamer; sister Cathy (Keith); brothers Truman and Michael; nephews, Garrett and Landon; Jim's family; and many friends. Janelle was outspoken and always supported her girls in whatever they chose to do. Often on a cold winter day you could find her and the girls tobogganing or building a snow fort, summers were spent by the pool or hiking. A few years ago Janelle met the man of her dreams, Jim, who soon proposed and placed a ring on her finger. He walked, supported and encouraged her over the past five years. Sadly, her sickness worsened and their plans were put on hold. She was born on September 6, 1976 in Winnipeg and resided the last 10 years in Selkirk. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Selkirk. In lieu of flowers, donations in Janelle's memory can be made to a trust fund set up for her daughters at the Cambrian Credit Union in Selkirk, 282 Main St., Selkirk, MB R1A 2P3. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Yaffe, Tracy Heppner, the nurses and staff of 7A West and 5B at the St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.
