ZENA OREE Peacefully with her family by her side, Zena Oree passed away at Seven Oaks General Hospital on Thursday, June 15, 2006. Zena Oree was predeceased by her beloved sisters, Agnes Ramsubhag, Quintina Ramsubhag and brother Pinky Ramsubhag. Left to cherish her memory are husband B. Rufus Oree; daughter Natalie; son Lincoln; sisters, Joan Ramsubhag, Philomena Ramsubhag and Judy Ruiz. The family wishes to thank the Seven Oaks General Hospital Intensive Care Unit staff for their thoughtfulness and compassion. Zena immigrated in 1970 to Canada and lived in Winnipeg, MB with her husband of 38 years, B. Rufus Oree. She was a kind and gentle woman who always made her children feel like the most precious thing in the world. A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 19, at 2:00 p.m. in the Thomson in the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Zena's memory to the Diabetes Foundation of Manitoba, 1114A 233 Kennedy, Winnipeg, MB 943-7871.
