Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARTIN MIKOLAJCZYK With sadness we announce the passing of Martin Mikolajczyk on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the Health Sciences Centre after a courageous battle with cancer. Martin is survived by his wife Rose; sons Martin (Krystyna), Ed (Lucy), Richard; daughter Jeanette (Howard) and grandchildren, Shaun (Angie), Lynda (Bogdan), Nancy (Darren), Richard Jr., Ted (Magda), Derek, Steven and Jesslyn along with 9 great-grandchildren. Dad was born in Mazury, Poland on October 19, 1921. He came to Canada in 1949 and was employed by Manitoba Hydro for 32 years. Dad was hardworking, enjoyed music and being outdoors. He will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Ave. on Thursday, June 22 at 2:00 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
