GEORGE KOSTYNIUK Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, George Kostyniuk passed away on Monday, June 19, 2006 at his residence with his family by his side. He was predeceased by his father William, sister Jean Solodiuk and his stepfather Ken Newton. George will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nydia; daughter Beverly (Cameron) Fisher; son Darryl; grandchildren, Samantha, Jaymee, and Brent; mother, Mary Kostyniuk-Newton; sisters Nellie, Judy and Millie; brother Henry (Elaine); as well as many nieces, nephews and other family. George was born April 15, 1946 in Sundown, MB. He worked with Schreyer Equipment for 11 years before starting George's Small Engine Repair. Prayers will be held on Friday, June 23 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation half an hour prior, at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 24 at 10:00 a.m. also at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Interment and reception will follow. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Glen Drobot, Dr. M. B. MacMillan, Estralita Holder, Gabriel and Diane Chiola, John and Mary Hykawy and the nurses and staff at the St. Boniface Hospital. If friends so desire, donations may be made in George's memory to the St. Boniface Hospital.
