Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNATALIE LAZARKO Peacefully on Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at the Portage District General Hospital, Natalie Lazarko wife of the late William Lazarko passed away at the age of 83 years. A prayer service will be held in the Chapel of the Omega Funeral Home, Portage la Prairie, MB on Monday evening, June 26 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Portage la Prairie, MB, on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Father Michael Wollbaum officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Natalie was born and raised in Winnipeg where she married her loving husband William on August 18, 1945. From there she moved to Portage la Prairie where she resided until her passing. Natalie worked at the Campbell Soup Plant for over thirty years. Her favourite job was working in the lab. Natalie was famous for her hospitality and she made everyone who came into her house feel like a member of the family. She was an excellent cook and loved trying new things. Natalie loved to garden and truly had a green thumb when it came to flowers and plants. She made her property into park-like surroundings. Natalie was a very talented and creative lady who wasn't afraid to tackle any task, from upholstery to painting. She was a great mother who loved her family dearly. She always put others needs above her own. She always had a sparkle in her eye and she was a very good listener. Natalie was a true inspiration to others. To all that knew her, she was a grand lady who will be sadly missed. Predeceased by her husband William; son David, brother Borden; and two sisters, Stephanie and Verna. She leaves to mourn her passing her two sons Lawrence (Irene) and James (Leah); daughter-in-law Christine; eight grandchildren, Lawrence, Robert, William, Edward, David, Laura, Dana and Jason, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
