LORNA MOLLER (ATKINS) (nee AIKENS) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lorna Moller on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at the age of 66. Lorna will be greatly missed by her husband Rolf Moller; her daughter Nancy Garand (Bob Garand); her son Rob Atkins (Patsy Parker); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashley, Autumn and Curtis; brother Bert Aikens (Joan) and family. She was also blessed with many step-children and step-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her many relatives, friends and acquaintances. Lorna was predeceased by her loving husband Jack Atkins in 1984, she then married Rolf, spending the last 16 wonderful years together. Also predeceased by her mother Nancy (1964) and her father Lorne (1985). As a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Mom brought great love, devotion and a special touch, she was the one that always had time for others. We will always cherish those memories. Lorna loved to spend her summers with her friends at Winnipeg Beach. In the winter, she loved to watch curling on TV or watching her son and grandson curl at local curling clubs. Mom was always there lending a hand helping with her son's business Atkins Curling Supplies, you would find her in the store or at the booth during the MCA bonspiels. She loved visiting her daughter and family in the country for weekend visits. Her grandchildren looked forward to her visits as much as she looked forward to visiting them. She loved to spend time with family and friends playing bingo and cards, or having that special lunch get together. Prior to her retirement, Lorna worked for various companies, Shaw Dental Labs, Winnipeg Crown Bridge and Manitoba Lab, she made many lifelong friends from her working days. Cremation has taken place. All friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Lorna's Life to be held on Thursday, June 29, at 3:00 p.m. in restaurant area of the Norvilla Motor Hotel, 1763 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg, MB.
