RITA YVONNE MARIE SIDLEY It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of Rita Yvonne Marie Sidley on June 26, 2006 at Concordia Hospital. Rita was born on January 29, 1925 and has now gone on to join her husband Joseph and her daughter Jo-Anne. She leaves to mourn, her four loving sons, John and wife Lydia, Paul and wife Joan, David and wife Terry, Tony and wife Karen; sisters, Elda Plessis and Evelyn Longtin; brothers, Paul and Joseph Longtin; granddaughters, Erin Wesner, Lisa Rees, Michelle McCreight, Leslie, Varina and Kelly Sidley; grandsons, David, Paul, Christopher and Evan Sidley; three great-grandchildren; and a very large extended family. The family wishes to express special thanks to the staff of the Concordia Hospital for all of their support. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, June 30 at Transcona Funeral Chapel (1800 Day St., Winnipeg, MB). Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. Please make donations to Cancer Care Manitoba in lieu of flowers. We will always love and miss you; you were the greatest mom and grandmom ever. Rest in peace.
