SUSAN GROENING Peacefully at the Charleswood Care Centre in Winnipeg, on Sunday June 25, 2006, at the age of 88 years, Susie went to be with her Lord. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward in 2001. She is survived by her daughter Marlene; son Kenneth (Vicky); grandchildren Tanya (Darin), Kevin, Myron (Anne), Patrick (Sandy), and Andy (Tabitha); and great-grandchildren Darrius, Trinnity, Teagan, Lauren, Dawson, Talia, Julia, Jessica, and Josh. She also leaves to mourn her sister Evelyn Wiens and family; sisters-in-law Tilly, Ellen (Cornelius), Elvira, and Tina; brothers-in-law Walter and Dave (Marge); and many friends and relatives too numerous to mention. Susie's family was her life and her love, and her care for us was constant and unconditional. She brought great love, devotion, and a special touch that only a mother and grandmother has for her family. We will miss her very much. Her other passions were gardening, community work, and her dedication to Emmanuel Gospel Church in Sunday School and Ladies Ministry Fellowship. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Gospel Church in Lowe Farm, with viewing prior to the service. There will viewing at Morris Funeral Home today (Wednesday), from 1:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m. Donations, if friends so desire, may be made to the Back To The Bible broadcast.
