B. (DOUGLAS) BROUGHTON After a short bout with cancer, Douglas Broughton passed quietly away at home with his wife, daughter and grandson at his side. Douglas is survived by his beloved wife Sandra, of 47 years; caring daughter Tracey; and grandson Patrick. Also surviving is his son Bruce; daughter-in-law Patti; and grandson Matthew; his brother Bill and family of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. In compliance with Douglas' wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Douglas' name may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
