Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY MARGUERITE ONION Mary Marguerite McCloskey Onion born January 25, 1916, passed away peacefully on the morning of June 27, 2006 at Poseidon Care Centre. Marguerite was predeceased by her husband Harry Onion of London, England. Marguerite was for many years, a member of Holy Trinity Church and Choir. Her long-standing membership in the Winnipeg Canoe Club also gave her great pleasure. While married to her husband, they resided in London and had great fun entertaining many Canadian friends there. Upon her return to Canada, she continued to work until her retirement, which allowed her to pursue many interests such as theatre, the Symphony, and reading as many library books as possible. Marguerite will be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Olive McCloskey of Scottsdale, Arizona; her niece, Patricia Selman and her husband John of Scottsdale; great-nephew John Selman and wife Doreen of Malibu, California; great-niece Catherine Mountain and her husband Robert of Scottsdale and their two sons, great-great nephews, Joshua and Brynn Mountain. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service for friends and family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, if you so desire, may be made to the Canadian Multiple Sclerosis Society.
