ESTHER GERTRUDE PARKS June 13, 1916 - July 3, 2006 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Esther Gertrude Parks at the Health Sciences Centre. Predeceased by her parents, Louis and Rose Pashkovsky; her beloved husband Sidney; and brothers, Sid, Maurice and Earl. She is survived by her children, Penny (Brian) Aronovitch, Ross of Saskatoon and Calvin (Louise) of Ottawa. She was adored by her grandsons, Drew (Sara Devora), Fraser (Marla) and Steven (Amy) Aronovitch and granddaughter Lois (Michael) Powell and 14 great-grandchildren, Hindy, Yehuda, Yehoshua, Rochel, Brocha, Shoshona, Mordechai, Chana Rivka, Moshe Ahron, Lee, Ben and Jaden Aronovitch and Rachel and Jamie Powell. She will be missed by her sisters-in-law, Betty Pash, Alfreda Pash, Betty Jane Pash, Gloria Parks and Ruth Drexler and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery (Gate 3) at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 5. If so desired, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba (1160 - 675 McDermot Ave.) or a charity of choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Health Sciences Centre (Emergency and GH4) for the care she received.
