GEORGE ALFRED CROSTHWAITE January 24, 1930 - June 29, 2006 It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing of George, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. George leaves his loving wife of 49 years Donnavenne; son Robert (Maria); daughter Carla (Kevin); grandchildren, Brendan and Kaitlyn Jones; brother Leslie and wife Christine; nephew John Paul; and niece Jenny. He was predeceased by his father Jack and mother Emma. George was an avid sportsman, enjoying golf, hockey, curling and bowling. He was employed for many years by Carlings Brewery as a salesman and later by Corby's.
