PETER KLUCZKOWSKI With heavy hearts and disbelief, we announce the passing of Peter Kluczkowski, beloved husband, father, son, brother and uncle on June 21, 2006 in Waco, TX with his wife at his side. Born in Portage la Prairie, MB on August 21, 1951, Peter spent all of his working years at CN where he was a welding foreman. He looked forward to spending his retirement years in Texas but God had other plans. A funeral service was held in Waco on June 24 after which he was laid to rest in Riesel, TX as per his wishes. Peter loved his motorcycles and music but his love for his children was the greatest. Tara and Bart meant everything to him. Although short-lived, Peter found a renewed sense of peace and happiness in Texas with his wife and soul-mate Deborah. Deborah was able to reach inside and restore Peter's faith in many things. Those left behind find strength in knowing Slavko has joined his mother, Olga. Family left to keep his memory alive are wife Deborah, daughter Tara, son Bart and his new family, Justin and Deirdre (of Waco), father Maksym (Max) of Portage la Prairie, brother Michael (niece Jodi and nephew Sean), sister Lesia Zablockij (brother-in-law Wasyl), sister-in-law Merle (all of Winnipeg) and cousin Joyce Brooking (David and Jason) of Enderby, BC. A tribute service for Peter will be held on Thursday, July 13 at 7:00 p.m. in Winnipeg at the Canad Inn on Pembina Highway. To honour Peter, black tee shirts and jeans welcome. Flowers gratefully declined. Loved more than you knew Missed more than you could ever know.
