R. H. CHAPMAN With deepest sorrow his family announce the passing of Ronald Chapman on June 23, 2006 in Edmonds, WA at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn Shirley, his loving wife of 63 years; his three children, Sharon, Richard and Joyce; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ron was born and educated in Winnipeg. He joined the R.C.A.F. in 1941 and married Shirley Ames before serving overseas. After the war Ron worked as Sales Manager of Saw and Planing Equipment and subsequently formed his own business in California. On retirement from the business world he moved to Carlsbad, CA and spent many happy years travelling the world. When Ron's health deteriorated they moved to Edmonds, WA to be near his caregivers, Richard and Linda Chapman. Cremation has taken place with Ron's ashes to be scattered at sea.
