BARBARA MARGUERITE RENTZ Peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2006 Barbara Marguerite Rentz passed away at her home at the age of 81. She was predeceased by her husband Andy, and her parents, Howard and Marguerite Brown. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Cindy, son-in-law Laurie; granddaughter Dalayna; brother Russel (Pauline) of Killarney; sisters, Isabelle Klassen of Brandon, and Jean (Roger) Kalman of Westbank, BC; as well as many nieces and nephews. Barbara was born in Dunrea, MB. She practiced nursing at the Pelican Lake Sanatorium in Ninette and later at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg. While in Ninette she met and later married Andy. Together they raised their daughter Cindy in Elmwood. Barbara resided in Elmwood from 1950 until she passed away. She took great pride in her home and garden, especially her roses and tomato plants. Barbara had a wonderful way with animals, and always had a special place in her heart for her own pets. She was also a great supporter of the humane society. Her family was very special to her and she greatly enjoyed the precious times she shared with her granddaughter Dalayna. We will miss you and will always love you Grandma Barbara! A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at the Glen Eden Funeral Home, with visitation one-half hour prior to service. Interment will follow at the Elmwood Cemetery.
