COLETTE DENISE HUOT After a lengthy illness we sadly announce the passing of our dear Colette on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by her mother Bertha Huot; brothers, Ray (Rita), Paul (Doreen), Maurice (Maureen) and many nieces, nephew, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her father Paul Ernest Huot in May 1963. Born, May 3, 1933, she has resided all her life in St. Boniface. Colette worked for the City of Winnipeg and retired in 1993. She was an esteemed member of the Girl Guides and The Daughters of Isabella. Colette excelled in 10 pin bowling, winning many trophies, but the most notorious attributes of Colette were her laugh, sense of humor and her jokes. The family would like to thank Dr. Bharat Shah and Dr. Pat Montgomery, Ed Payette and the staff of 4E at the St. Boniface Hospital, for their kind and compassionate care. Special thank you to Anna Jolicoeur for her friendship and help. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 15, at 11:00 a.m. in the E. J. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Colette's memory may be made to the St. Boniface Research Foundation, 409 Tache St., St. Boniface or to a charity of one's choice.
