STEFANIA SABANSKI July 1, 1911 July 13, 2006 Peacefully on July 13, 2006, Stefania passed away at the Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 95. Stefania is survived by her loving daughter Krystyna (Henry); son Zbigniew (Lydia); grandchildren, Betty, Ted, Gerry, Jolanta, Kris, John, Betty, Janina, Ryszard and Mariusz; 19 great-grandchildren; sister Zofia; numerous nephews, nieces, friends and especially Maria and Nelly. She was predeceased by husbands Wladyslaw and Peter Sabanski. Stefania was born in Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1965. She was a dedicated and long time member of the Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, especially growing flowers. Stefania loved being with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Buchok, Dr. Panaskiewich and the staff at the Holy Family Nursing Home for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Sunday, July 16 at 6:00 p.m. at St Andrew Bobola Roman Catholic Church, 541 Marion St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 17 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stefania's memory to the Manitoba Lung Association. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
