NETTIE (JEANETTE) EDDY June 8, 1915 July 14, 2006 Surrounded by her loving friends, Shirley, Evelyn and Vic, Nettie passed away on Friday, July 14 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She was also predeceased by her parents, John and Isabella Page, brother Jimmy Page, sister Alice Hamilton and nephew Jim Page and niece Jackie Lowery. She carried this into her love of golf and curling. She was a 50 year member of the Niakwa Golf and Country Club and was a ladies club champion in 1967, 1973 and 1974. In 1974 she was a member of the Senior Ladies Golf Team which represented Manitoba at the Canadian Ladies Senior Golf Championship in Quebec City. Nettie was also a member of the Ft. Rouge Curling Club a place she lovingly referred to as her home away from home When illness prevented her from curling, she still enjoyed the get-togethers with her many curling friends. To Evelyn and Vic Gordon and Shirley Oliver, many many thanks for your tireless care and attention. You allowed Nettie to remain in her home where she was the happiest. Thanks also to Gwenda Templeton for your assistance and friendship. She enjoyed her time with you.
