ERIKA NEWBOUND (nee KEUSCHNIG) Passed away peacefully on July 20, 2006, at the Grace Hospice following a long courageous battle with bone cancer. Erika of Vienna, Austria, is survived by her sister Adelegunde Kubicek, Vienna, Austria; her spouse Patrick; sons, Patrick John (Connie) of Louisiana, USA, Michael Ian of Winnipeg and grandchildren, Cecilia and Gowan. Erika, a long serving member of the Canadian Fliers Chapter of The Imperial Order of The Daughters of The Empire (IODE), has requested a private memorial service for family and friends at a later date. Erika and her family wish to express their sincere appreciation of each and every one of the entire staff and volunteers of the Grace Hospice for the many months of dedicated care and understanding during this difficult period of time; and, each and every one of the entire staff and volunteers of the Palliative Care unit of Riverview Health Centre during the period of time prior to her transferring to Grace Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Erika's Memory to Grace Hospice Foundation, 260 Booth Drive, Winnipeg, MB, R3J 3R5; Canadian Fliers Chapter, IODE, in care of 122 Mclaughlin Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3J 2S6, or the charity of your choice.
