THELMA COLE (nee TEED) Quietly at Luther Home on Tuesday, July 25, 2006 our Mother passed away at the age of 83. She leaves to mourn son Gordon (Sandra); daughter Cheryl; grandchildren, Phillip and Julia; brother Evert (Lil); sister Jessie (Bill) of Teulon, MB. Predeceased are her husband Gordon and sister Helen. Thelma was born in Inwood, MB and raised in the Norris Lake Area, where she attended Westerham School. In her early years, Thelma taught School, worked at Paulin Chambers, then the Furrier Industry. Mom retired from Crown Zellerbach Plastics Division after 30 years of employment. Thelma was a strong willed, but private person with an exceptional flair for baking. She enjoyed travelling to Hawaii, Alaska, Las Vegas, and especially to Sweden to explore her heritage. The family wishes to express thanks to the staff at Luther Home, the gentle and compassionate care given in the final weeks of Thelma's life. Memorial service will be held on Monday, July 31, 6:30 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson Society of Manitoba, Winnipeg Humane Society, or Luther Home in our mother's memory. We love you Mom CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
