ALEXANDER (ALEX) JARVIS MILLAR On July 28, 2006 Alex died peacefully, with his family by his side, at the Grace Hospital at the age of 72 years. Remaining to cherish Alex's memory are his beloved wife Theresa; children, Bernadette (Rick), Maureen (Dave), Anne (Rick) and Alex (Mary); grandchildren, Chrissy (Colin), Mandy, Jenna, Danny, Adam, Bree-Ann and Steven. He is also survived by his sister Rea (Mike) and his brother Danny (Veronica), both of whom still reside in Scotland. Alex was born on July 27, 1934 in Scotland where he met and married Theresa on June 22, 1957. On September 11, 1966 Alex moved his family from Scotland to Winnipeg where he worked and raised his family. Special thank you to Dr. Pat Harris and all the staff of the Grace Hospital Cancer Clinic, 5th floor staff, Dr. Andrew Mallick and Fr. Mark Tarrant. Their care and concern was very much appreciated. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 1 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul The Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Ave. with Rev. Fr. Mark Tarrant presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Hospital Cancer Clinic.
