ANNIE ROGOCKI (nee HARASYMCHUK) Annie Rogocki, aged 93 years, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2006 at the Seven Oaks Hospital after a brief illness. She was born to Nickolas and Teenie Harasymchuk on July 7, 1913. Mom was raised and educated in the Red Deer area. She was predeceased by her parents, five brothers, husband Joseph (after nearly 60 years of marriage) and children, Peter, Rudolph, and Leona. She is survived by her children, Rosie, Steve, Irene, Casimir, Elizabeth, Edward and Patricia; as well as numerous nephews, nieces and grandchildren. Mom was a very resourceful, hard working mother. She was very proud of her garden, flowers and her independent nature. She will be sadly missed. She struggled with arthritis throughout her life. Special thanks to the Seven Oaks Hospital Staff for their supportive care in her final weeks. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour, MB with Rev. Fr. David Brabant presiding. Viewing/Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 3 at 8:30 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel. A private family interment will follow at St. John's Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lowland.
