ROSE STETZ It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rose age 70, on August 4, 2006 at the Beausejour Hospital. She will be greatly missed by husband Alex of nearly 50 years; her son Jack (Debbie) Stetz of Langley BC; her daughters Pauline (Stan) Post of Kleefeld and Marilyn (Michael) Starkey of Beausejour; grandchildren Nicole, Jacob, Brenden, Kaitlin, Spencer, and Leandra. She is also survived by her sister Vicki (Alex) Bugera and sister-in-law Eleanor Gmiterek, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Clementine, her brothers Casmir, Tony, Edward and her sister Emily Solar. Rose was born on September 24, 1935 in Cloverleaf, MB. Later on she moved to Beausejour with her mother. Her many employments included a dental assistant, a nurses aid at the Beausejour Hospital, a bakery worker, and a volunteer for the Red Cross/Canadian Blood Services Blood Donor Clinic for many years. She married Alex on October 27, 1956, whereupon they resided all their lives in Beausejour. Mom was a very loving and kind person, always thinking of others before herself. Her family was the centre of her life and love. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday August 9, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel 1035 Park Ave. East, Beausejour MB. The funeral liturgy will follow on Thursday, August 10, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. also at Sobering Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at the Beausejour Cemetery. Donations in Rose's memory may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
