DECLAN GRAHAM CLARKE Suddenly after a long illness, Declan Clarke, aged 40 years passed away on August 5, 2006. Declan is survived by his mother and father Vera and Graham; brother John and sister-in-law Lesley, as well as his grandmother Winnifred Clarke, Aunt Drinda, Uncle Don, Uncle Kevin (Nancy) and many cousins, great aunts and great uncles. In his early years, Declan was an accomplished classical guitarist and composer winning awards for both. Declan loved nature and enjoyed many wilderness canoe trips with his family. Declan's interests included photography, reiki, tai chi, yoga, meditation and teaching guitar. Declan was a gentle person with an exuberant love of life, a great laugh and sense of humor, yet at other times, sensitive and spiritual. Declan cared deeply for his family and his many pets over the years. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. McTaggart and the health care professionals, Bev, Sherry, Ludy, Mona, Donna, Terry and Cindy. A memorial service will be held at McKenzie Funeral Home in Teulon, MB on Saturday, August 12, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity.
