DARINKA MAJCAN It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother and wife Darinka Majcan at the age of 61. After fighting a brave battle with cancer, she ended her struggle peacefully on August 8, 2006. Darinka was born in Croatia on October 7, 1944. After her marriage to Klaudio Majcan on March 23, 1963, she became a devoted mother to three children. Left to remember her fondly is her loving husband Klaudio; her children, Moreno, Nives and Lori and their spouses. She will also be missed by her seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She had so many good friends that loved and supported her, especially during her illness. Darinka cherished God's promise of a paradise that will put an end to the suffering of sickness and death and enjoyed sharing her faith in that promise with others. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at CancerCare Manitoba and Riverview for the extraordinary care she received during her illness. A memorial service will be held Friday, August 11 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall, 937 Gateway Rd.
