ROSE BRONESKI Peacefully on August 13, 2006 at Lion's Manor, our generous and caring mother and beloved grandmother, Rose Broneski, passed away at age 97 years. Rose was born in Rosthern, SK in 1909. She was predeceased by her husband Manny in 1985, and her daughter Linda Potter of Vancouver in 2002. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her son Tom (Sylvia) and three grandchildren, Suzanne, Tracy, Kevin (Dawn) all of Vancouver; niece Linda Dorian and her three daughters, Kristi, Cari and Danica. Never concerned for herself, she lovingly nurtured her children, instilling correct morals and shaping personalities. Later she took care of her sister Elsie, and shared a marriage of 40 years with her husband Manny. She lived in her own home until the age of 88 years. She then moved to the Lion's Manor becoming a longtime resident. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Chaplain Paul Martin officiating. Interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Lion's Manor for the care and compassion extended to Rose and especially the Dorian family for their many visits.
