RITA LOUISE CALLAREC It is with great sadness the family of Rita Callarec announce her passing at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Rita is survived by her loving husband John Callarec of Dauphin. Rita also leaves to mourn and cherish many fond memories her loving children, Irene and partner Art Gagnon of St. Amelie, MB, Rita Beasse and her husband Victor of Ste. Rose du Lac, MB, Albert Callarec and his wife Julia of Acme, AB, Gilles Callarec and his partner Shelley Haibeck of Calgary, AB, Giselle Tessier and her husband Ray of Vancouver, BC, Yvette Hollyoake and her husband Dean of Ochre River, MB and Lissa Beach and her husband Wes of Calgary. There are 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Rita is also survived by her brothers, Joe Deremiens and Guy Deremiens of Laurier, MB; her three sisters, Paulette Langlois of Virden, MB, Terri Deremiens of Winnipeg, MB and Lydia Deremiens also of Winnipeg; brothers-in-law Ronald Theoret and his partner Sandra of Ste. Rose du Lac, Nelson Lemieux of Winnipeg, Yves Callarec and wife Bev of Courtney, BC and Louis Morin of Vancouver; sisters-in-law, Marge Deremiens of Carman, MB, Jean Callarec of Osoyoos, BC, Rejanne Morin of Vancouver, and Rose Bouchard of Vancouver. There are many nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. Prayers will be offered on Monday, August 21 at 7:30 p.m. from the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel in Dauphin, MB. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 22 at 2:30 p.m. from Dauphin's St. Viator's Roman Catholic Church. Fr. Yolando Gamallo will officiate and the service will conclude at the church. A private family interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial donations in memory of Rita may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation, Dauphin Branch, or to the Arthritis Society of Manitoba.
