Dad was born June 12, 1920 in Liverpool England. During the Second World War, Dad served with distinction in the British Royal Navy (1940-1946) where he earned eight medals while serving on 18 ships. After the war Dad married his childhood sweetheart Nellie on December 12, 1945. His English traditions fit well in the town that was often referred to as Little Britain . In his retirement he continued to widen his network of family and friends who truly enjoyed listening to his storytelling. Thank you Dad for keeping everything in apple pie order .
