TERRY WAYNE SUDERMAN 1960 - 2006 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Wayne Suderman on August 29, 2006 at the St. Boniface Hospital, following a long struggle with many health problems, peacefully and surrounded by his family. Wayne is survived and will be missed by his children, Nicholas and Jacqueline; their mom Kathy; his brother Grant; sister-in-law Deb, their children, David, Christian, and Leah; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was recently predeceased by his parents, Kay and Dave Suderman. Wayne was born in Winnipeg on April 22, 1960 and grew up in Fort Garry. After leaving high school, he worked for Westfair Foods until serious health issues intervened in the mid-1990's. The greatest joys in his life were born in 1985 and 1988, and while he was a man of few words, his pride in his children's accomplishments was evident. For as long as he was physically able, he attended and enjoyed all of their ball games and band concerts and was able to see both of them graduate from high school. Family and family events were very important in Wayne's life, as were sports curling, baseball, pool, and golf participating in the earlier years and an avid fan throughout his life. Cooking for others also made him happy his chili and lasagna were family favourites. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 5 at Bethel Mennonite Church, 465 Stafford St. with Pastor Rudy Baergen officiating, with viewing prior to the service at the Church. Interment will follow at Mennonite Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to stay or go back to the Church for lunch. The family would like to express thanks to the doctors, nurses, and aides at the St. Boniface Hospital, 5E, SICU and MICU for their excellent care of Wayne and great support to us through this difficult time. Thanks also to extended family and friends for your words of support, offers of help and visits to the hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined, but if friends so desire, donations would be appreciated to the St. Boniface Hospital and Research Foundation, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6.
