Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAUDREY MARY HOMENICK It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved wife and mother Audrey Homenick (nee Ripley), aged 78 years, at the Selkirk and District General Hospital on Saturday, September 9, 2006 with her loving family by her side. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Herb; daughters, Sherri (Rick), Sharon and Patti (Terry); grandchildren, Jayde and Tyler as well as numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her father Charles, mother Ethel, brother Wes, twin brother William and sister Irene. Mom enjoyed playing cards, doing word finds, and getting together with family and friends. She was strong, courageous and very devoted to her family. She touched everyone who knew her with her sense of humour and heart of gold. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff on the Medical Ward, Emergency Department, Paramedics Wayne and Mitch and Dr. Ryckman, Dr. Antonenko and Dr. Badenhorst at the Selkirk General Hospital and the ICU staff at Grace Hospital. Cremation has taken place. To celebrate her life, a gathering of family and friends will be held in place of a formal service at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice. You are a person of enormous courage, someone truly special in this world, a rare and beautiful gift to all of us. You will be in our hearts forever. Until we meet again. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
