VITO SINISI It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Vito Sinisi at the age of 64. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Lucia of 32 years, his son Orazio (Sandy), daughter Caterina (Colin), daughter Cristina (Pino). Vita also leaves behind, one granddaughter Chiara who was a constant joy in her Nonno's life. Also left to cherish his memory his mother, Antoinette Fusco (Italy), his brother, sisters and numerous relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by his father Orazio Pasquale Sinisi. Vito was born in September 4, 1942 in Ripacandida, Italy. He later immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada in the mid 60's to start a life for himself. He returned to Italy for a visit in 1973 where he met the love of his life Lucia. They married in 1974 in Avigliano, Italy. They returned to Winnipeg to begin there lives together. Vito began his long and very successful career as an electrician with the City of Winnipeg. He later retired from Inovatech where he worked for many years. He continued to work with his son Orazio who is following in his fathers footsteps. Vito's greatest success and joy were his wife and three beautiful children. Throughout the course of his life he has touched the lives of so many people. Vito took pride in everything. His heart and soul went into his wine making which he enjoyed sharing with family, friends and even neighbors. Vito lived every day to the fullest. Papa we miss you, and can't imagine the days to come without you. We know you will always watch over us. A celebration of Vito's life will be held on Friday, September 15, 2006 at Holy Rosary Church at 510 River Avenue. Viewing between 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. with mass to follow. Pallbearers will be; James Douglas, Kevin Cymbaluk, Danny Potenza, Joe Potenza, Jim Santarsieri, Robert Tummillo. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. WE LOVE YOU NONNO!
