ORPHA MARY MARSHALL (nee FINLEY) Our family sadly announces the passing of Orpha Marshall on September 14, 2006 at the Concordia Hospital. Orpha is survived by her children, Arla (Terral) and Cam (Patricia). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Terral, Devon, Lauren and Alex. She was predeceased by her husband Cam in 2004 and her parents, Cecil and Matilda. Orpha was born in Winnipeg and spent her younger years on a farm in southwestern Manitoba. She often spoke of riding horseback to eagerly get to school. She graduated from Daniel McIntyre Collegiate and reminisced about her funny antics with friends at Pauline Chambers and also Westeel. Fortunately she and the Westeel gals continued to meet until recently. Orpha was creative, independent and loved a good joke. Orpha enjoyed travelling with her family as well as with many longtime friends. She had happy memories and great times at Matlock and Belair. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Concordia Oncology Dept. for their care and compassion. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 22 at 3:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Orpha's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave. Room ON109, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
