RUFINA DELA CRUZ CATURAY On September 16, 2006, Rufina passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 85 years. Rufina was predeceased by her husband Francisco Caturay, son Florinio Caturay and three brothers. She is survived by three daughters, Daisy Caturay of Winnipeg, Myrna Carido of Winnipeg, Zita Caturay of the Phillipines and one son Raulito Caturay and his wife Baby of the Philippines; daughter-in-law Olivia Caturay of the Philippines; grandchildren, Kimberley, Yvette, Rubie, all of Winnipeg and 12 grandchildren in the Philippines. Lamay will be from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 21 and 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Friday, September 22 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Interment will take place in the Philippines. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all of her relatives and friends, the doctors, nurses and staff of the Health Sciences Centre and to the HomeCare staff for their support and care for Rufina during her illness.
