Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDERRICK NICKOLAS WALTER KERENKO July 12, 1961 - September 19, 2006 With very heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, Derrick (a.k.a Red) Kerenko. Left to mourn his untimely passing is his wife Collette; sons Nickolas and Cory; his mother Catherine Kerenko; mother-in-law Marina Mustonen; siblings, Deborah (Ken) Malyk, Jamie Kerenko, Paul (Melanie) Langan, Michelle Langan, and Jana (Darren) Moore; sister-in-law, Linda Fines; brother-in-law, Danny Combot, and maternal grandmother Phyllis Pruden. Derrick was always ever so proud of his nieces and nephews and will also be sadly missed by them. His longtime best friends, Wayne Hogue, Barry and Tracy Courchene and Barry Jr., Dave and Ilona Misurka, always held a special place in Derrick's life. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 23 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME, 220 Hespeler Ave. Viewing one hour prior to service. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM FAMILY OWNED OPERATED 220 Hespeler Ave @ Henderson Hwy. 668-3151

Very sad to have lost Kerenko at such a young age....I hope Collette and kids are doing well. There was no one then and now like Derrick.. he was 1 of a kind..we spent time away at camp and he was always a rock to lean on.. he was never down..always made me laugh and smile and always held his family first I still tell stories of kranko to this day..rip big man - Posted by: Gary reynolds (Pals) on: Dec 13, 2024
