ROWENA BEATRICE MAUDE LOUISE CARTWRIGHT Rowena Cartwright has passed away at the age of 94. A long time resident of 407 Oxford St., she had most recently been a resident of Tuxedo Villa. Her husband Bill predeceased her in 1999. Rowena was an environmentalist long before it was popular and was an Honorary Life Member of the Manitoba Natural History Society (now The Manitoba Naturalists) and an Honorary Life Member of St. Georges Anglican Church. She was a loving mother and was interested in everything around her. She will be very much missed by daughter Lynne McCrea and her husband Paul; grandchildren Bryan and Cheryl; and great-grandchildren Meghan, Sydney, Jaedon and Devyn.
