DAVID PAUL CLORY David went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 22, 2006. He passed away at Maples Personal Care Home at the age of 62 in the arms of his loving wife Norma, after a lengthy illness. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Norma, children Michael and Jennifer, stepsons Christopher Sharkey (Rachel), Peter Sharkey, stepdaughter Beth Baxter (Mark), granddaughters Quinlan Sharkey and Rae Baxter and grandson Griffin Sharkey, brothers Roy (Shirley) of Halifax, Ron (Isabelle) of Winnipeg and sisters Doreen (Alan) Snow of Halifax, Leona (Wilfred) Marchand of Louisdale, NS, Phyllis (Gerald) Felix of Lower Sackville, NS and their families and many friends. Will be sadly missed by his best friend Mickey . He was predeceased by parents Alcide and Murial and by his brother Richard. David was born February 3, 1944 in Halifax, NS. He worked at Union Gospel Mission in Winnipeg as their cook from 1985 until his illness in 2002. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday September 26 at 1:00 pm in the Buntain Chapel at Calvary Temple 400 Hargrave with Pastor Bruce Martin officiating, viewing prior to the service. Internment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff of Maples Personal Care Home, especially Marcie and Carmie and the staff of 2 East for their excellent care, compassion and support.
