Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYN TERESA LANIGAN It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Lyn Teresa Lanigan of Winnipeg MB. Lyn passed way at her home on September 21, 2006 at the age of 62. Lyn was the youngest of ten children born to William and Sophie Lanigan in Biggar, SK. Upon graduating from St Gabriel's School in Biggar she struck out on her own. She moved to Winnipeg and soon after began work at Air Canada. She enjoyed a long career at Air Canada where she made many wonderful friends. Lyn retired from Air Canada after some 38 years of faithful service. She leaves to mourn, brother Ronald (Marjory) Lanigan of Victoria BC, sister Josephine (John) Malazdrewich of Biggar, SK, sister Annette (Mel) Husdal of Lethbridge, Alta. and many nieces and nephews. Lyn was predeceased by her parents William and Sophie Lanigan, brothers Tom, Dick Herb Dennis, Bernard and sister Mary Ellen. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, September, 29 at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg Mb. Father John Malazdrewich omi officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Biggar, SK. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

This was my aunt and I really didn't know her and my parents did honor her when they named me Tobi-Lynn Marie Lanigan. I remember hearing from Aunt Lyn that mom and dad argued over how to spell Lyn and mom said Lyn and dad said Lynn and I ended up with Lynn and it was actually Lyn. - Posted by: Tobi Lanigan () on: Feb 18, 2013
