Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY GIESBRECHT 1922 - 2006 Peacefully on September 27, 2006, just short of his 84th birthday (October 1), Henry passed away leaving to mourn his three children Gloria Hiebert and her family, Joyce (Peter) Hawryluk and family, son Lester Giesbrecht, and their mother Elsie. Also many brothers and sisters and their families, as he was the middle of 11 children. Henry was a coast to coast truck driver for years with Allied Van Lines. In his retirement, he enjoyed his summers at Tall Timber Lodge. Here, he had many friends who appreciated him for always having their lawns cut for the weekends. He will be missed. Thank you to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital E wing for the four months of care he received. He was happy there, comparing it to a Five Star Hotel. Thank you to the staff at the Maples Care Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
