GEERTRUIDA (TRUUS) LOCH (nee DEREUS) October 1, 1931 - September 29, 2006 It is with sadness, the family announces the passing of Geertruida on Friday, September 29, 2006 at the Grace Hospital. Truus leaves behind her spouse Matt; daughter Yoka and Ton Harzing and their children, Nicholas (fiancé Dawn DeCosse), Matthew, Richard and Michael; son Bert and Lori Loch and their children, Timothy, Justin, Christopher, Alexander, step-children, Carly and Trevor Hink; daughter Ineke and Ken Unrau and their children, Kristen (Matthew Menzies), Tracey and Mitchell. She also leaves behind her sister Coby Hensen from Transcona; and brother-in-law Giel Westbroek from the Netherlands; her in-laws, Ina Loch and Wilma Meyer, Johan and Yoka Loch of the Netherlands; numerous nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Chester. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with a reception to follow.
