GUNTER OTTO PETZOLD Peacefully, on October 1, 2006, Gunter passed away at Concordia Hospital at the age of 78 years surrounded by his loving family. Gunter will be sadly missed by his loving wife Erika, daughter Kristina (Ingo), stepsons Rudy (Tannis) and Errol, three grandchildren in Germany Julia, Patricia and Victoria, three grandchildren in Winnipeg Dieter, Nadia and Sabrina and many close friends. Gunter was born on September 17, 1928 in Bad Wilsnack, Germany. He came to Canada in 1974, met and married Erika, the love of his life in 1979. He was the Head Chef with the German Army Base in Shilo, MB. After retiring with the forces he worked for Zagreb Meat Market and retired earlier this year. He was a very loving and caring person who will be sadly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to thank all the nurses and staff on 3East at Concordia Hospital for their care. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel with Pastor Don Engel officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gunter's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
