IRENE ANN HILDEBRAND (nee BOYKO) October 25, 1936 October 2, 2006 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear wife and mother Irene Ann, who passed away peacefully at the age of 69. Mom was born in the area of Riverton, MB and moved to Winnipeg in her childhood years. Irene is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Jake; and children, Garey (Phyllis), Kelly (Bob), Darryl (Roxanne), and Candy (Cam); her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her mother Rose; sister Patricia; stepsisters, Olga and Lucy; and dear friend Julie of many years. Mom was predeceased by her father Michael; sister Adeline; and stepfather Bill. We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and health care aides on the 8th floor of the St. Boniface Hospital and a special thanks to Melanie at Cancer Care Manitoba. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Thursday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave. Lunch to follow at the Elmwood Legion, 920 Nairn Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME CREMATORIUM FAMILY OWNED OPERATED 220 Hespeler @ Henderson Hwy 668-3151
