HILDEGARD WEERTS (nee JAEGER) Hildegard Weerts of Penticton passed away at the Moog Friends Hospice House on October 3, 2006 at the age of 85 years. Hilda was predeceased by her husband in 2002. Hildegard will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by: her grandchildren and one niece in Germany, her nephews in Ontario, cousins in Penticton and area; also by many friends in Manitoba, Ontario, British Columbia, etc. Hildegard was born September 8, 1921 in Besswitz, Germany. She came to Canada in 1965; resided and worked in Ontario and Manitoba. Her last residence was in Penticton. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 6, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. from the Penticton Funeral Chapel, 501 Winnipeg Street, Penticton, BC with Major Tom Browne officiating. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Moog Friends Hospice House, 1701 Government St., Penticton, BC, V2A 8J7.
