CAROLE BURMASTER (nee SMITH) May 5, 1943 - October 1, 2006 With her family by her side, Carole passed away at the Pinawa Hospital after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Carole will be greatly missed by her husband Wayne Burmaster; mother Nancy Smith; sister Sheila; her children, Lori Flood (Allan), Craig Weeks (Scott); grandchildren, Leah, Ryan, Tyler Flood; stepchildren, Leah, (Kevin) Gordon, Joel (Lori) Burmaster; stepgrandchildren, Hope, Connel Gordon; Cameron, Jillian Burmaster. Carole's laugh and great sense of humour will never be forgotten and forever missed. Carole had a great love for her animals and would take any animal in that needed care. Carole loved to dance, go for walks, and enjoyed her family's company. The family would like to thank Sharron Carlson, and Thelma Thorington for their constant contact, care, and friendship throughout her battle with cancer. Thanks to the staff at the Pinawa Hospital and CancerCare Manitoba for there sincere care and help throughout her battle. As per Carole's wish there will be no formal service held. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society or CancerCare Manitoba.
