FREDERIC GALT DE SIEYES Fredéric Galt de Siéyès, born in Winnipeg, May 20, 1919, died in Victoria, September 25, 2006. Predeceased September 21 by his beloved wife Margarethe Otto and three brothers. He enlisted in the R.A.F. in 1939, and was based in the Second World War first in England, then in Egypt - transferring to the R.C.A.F., in 1945. He retired later that year in Winnipeg with the rank of Flight Lieutenant, A.F.C. He then worked for some years in Winnipeg but retired early, thenceforth dividing his time between Winnipeg, later Victoria and the Lake of the Woods - which he loved. He enriched the lives of all who knew him. He is survived by his sister-in-law Agisa and by two nephews John and Galt, their families, and many cousins and friends.
