RUDY EDWARD KARDASHINSKI On Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at the Gimli Community Health Centre, Rudy Kardashinski, aged 75 years of Finns, MB. Rudy was predeceased by his brother Louis and parents, Rudolph and Ileen. He leaves surviving his loving wife Evelyn; sons, Leonard (Dawn) of Winnipeg and Brent (Tina) of Nanaimo, BC; grandchildren, Sheena Kardashinski and Charlene Suche (Doug); brother John (Carol) of Gimli; sister-in-law Deanna; numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other friends and relatives. Rudy married Evelyn Zebrynski in 1953. They moved to Winnipeg and lived there for six years until moving to Finns where Rudy owned and operated his farm and Auto Service for 15 years. They moved to their present home in 1971 where they lived and farmed, as well as worked for Glenco Enterprise until Rudy's passing. Prayers will be held on Friday, October 13 at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Gimli. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, October 14 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, Gimli with Fr. Wayne Morrisey officiating. Interment will follow in the Our Lady of Mercy cemetery, Finns, MB. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. R.C Patel and the nursing staff at the Gimli Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rudy's memory can be made to a charity of choice. We love you, Dad and Grandpa. Vichnaya Pam'Yat Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
