ZELDA NOVIKOFF (nee GRUBER) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Zelda Novikoff on Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Sharon Home. She was predeceased by her daughter Lillian Rose (Lorrie); her sister Norma Gruber and brother-in-law Simon Gruber and her brother Issie Gruber. She is survived by her loving son David (Sandra) Novikoff; grandchildren Ari (Marina) Novikoff, Brenlee (Ryan) Olfert, Cari (Jeff) Mell, Shael (Ryce) Lander; great grandchildren Jakob Novikoff, Leah and Hallie Mell; sister-in-law Ida Gruber; nieces Sarah Engel, Fay Tennenbaum, Peggy Kasloff; nephews, David Gruber and Rubin Gruber. The funeral was held at the Chesed Shel Emes on September 7 with internment at the Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, Rabbi Avraham Altein officiated. Pallbearers wee Ari Novikoff, Shael Lander, Jeff Mell, Michael Gruber, Harvey Ackerman and David Pesochin. Honorary Pallbearers were David Gruber and Earnest Shapera. Shiva was held at her son's residence. The family wishes to thank all the staff at the Sharon Home for their kind love and care given to our mother.
