ANTONIO PEREIRA FRIAS It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Antonio Pereira Frias on Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Tomar, Portugal at the age of 77. Antonio was born in Casais de Abadia, Ourem in Portugal on January 26, 1929. At the age of 26 he ventured off to Angola, Africa with his wife, Maria for an incredible adventure and in 1977 began his journey in Canada alongside his wife Maria and children. He will be remembered and forever loved in the hearts of his wife Maria; children, Lourdes (Olimpio), Chico (Ivon), Lena (Arlindo), Tony (Dilia); his grandchildren, Carlos, Paulo, Nelson, Sonia, Marco, Monica, Adam, David, Daniel; his 10 brothers and sisters; his brothers and sister-in-law; his godchild; all his nieces and nephews; as well as all his friends. Antonio greatly enjoyed travelling, working on cars, daily walks and exercise routines, going for coffee with family and friends at Tim Horton's, and most importantly he loved getting together with family and close friends. Antonio was well known and will always be remembered for his dedication to hardwork and his love for his wife, children, grandchildren and immediate family. His kind and loving heart was always prepared to lend out a helping hand to family and friends. He will also be remembered for his great sense of humour that always seemed to put a smile on the faces of those around him. His wise words of wisdom were cherished by many. A mass will be held in honor of Antonio on Tuesday, October 17 at 7:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin Street. We will always remember the way you looked, The way you walked and smiled, All the things you did for us, You always did your best, Your heart was true and tender, You lived your life for those you loved. We will think of you often and remember you always, And love you forever. We will all miss you. SEMPRE NOS NOSSOS CORACOES, DESCANSE EM PAZ FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS, REST IN PEACE
