MATILDA FROEHLICH Mrs. Matilda Froehlich, aged 102 years, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the Beacon Hill Lodge, Winnipeg. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Gary of Winnipeg; her daughter Herta Shuparsky of Winnipeg; her daughter Ann Pearcey of Hamilton; her daughter Ruth of Winnipeg; her daughter-in-law Vera Froehlich and also her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Ludwig in 1989; her son Eric; daughter Elsie; son-in-law Anthony and son-in-law Gerald Pearcey. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 24 at 1:00 p.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church, Beausejour, MB with Pastor Hugh Laidlaw and Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating. Interment will follow in the Beausejour Town Cemetery. Friends may view at Sobering Funeral Chapel on Monday, October 23 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in her memory may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. The family wishes to thank the staff at the Beacon Hill Lodge, especially on the 8th floor, for the kindness and care they have given Mom.
