Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICHOLAS KAZINA Peacefully on October 23, 2006 at the Beausejour Hospital, Nicholas Kazina passed away on his 77th birthday after a long battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Julius (Irene) Kazina, 6 sisters Olga Luby, Sophie (John) Mlodzinski, Jean (Edward) Bukoski, Stella Chorney, Helen Kazina, Marjorie (John) Komadowski as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Eva and Dmytro Kazina, brothers Mike, John, Raymond and Steve, sister Mary Okolita, brothers in-law John Sawchuk, Fred Okolita, Bill Luby and John Chorney and sisters in-law Jean Kazina and Anne Kazina. Nick was born October 23, 1929 and was a life long resident of Tyndall, MB. He attended Tyndall School and early in his working life ran the family farm with his parents and sister. Lean times on the farm led him to work for Hydro, Schreyer Equipment and at the Garson and Lockport Hotels. Nick enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed gardening and watching things grow. Nick welcomed friends for visits and was the neighbourhood and family fix it guy . He would proudly explain what wasn't working and how he fixed it. The family thanks Dr. G. Campbell and the Beausejour Hospital Staff for their care during Nick's extended illness. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 26 at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue East, Beausejour with Fr. Walter Klimchuk presiding. Interment will follow at Tyndall Cemetery.
